IS Account Manager
Tyne and Wear, Newcastle

Our client is looking to fill a pivotal role within their IT Department, to work with and support their biggest Commercial Division. This role is key to enabling the business to drive forward.
As Account Manager you will work as an integrated member of both the Divisional and IT Senior Management teams, identifying commercial needs and relevant solutions. As the IS Representative you will assist in the resolution of conflicts, removing operational barriers, and reporting project status back to the business owners.
You will forge close relationships with Developers and business heads to identify areas of investment, and will build business cases to support the budget process. As the Account Manager, you will champion the IT government and control frameworks. You will represent Divisional interests at every stage of the project life cycle, ensuring that issues and concerns are addressed at every stage.
The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of information systems and proven experience in contributing to the development of a commercially focused IT Strategy. You will have experience of project management and a working knowledge of current quality standards (ITIL, ISO9000, COBIT).
Experience of working within a Contact Centre, would be an advantage, as would a good understanding of management accounting. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast moving environment, with high levels of resilience and a focused mindset. You will be comfortable with working at Senior levels, influencing decisions and building robust relationships.
