We are looking to recruit a Pre Sales Consultant for an International Mobile Operator.
This is a home based position, covering the Northern England region.
You will be required to partner with Business Sales and lead the Technical Pre Sales qualification of the consultancy sale. Identify and agree customer technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery to the customers success criteria. To partner with teams within the company and lead the technical set up and implementation of work packages through their life cycle, including the introduction and development of new products into service. Working with systems integrators and partners to lead on the best in class customer integrated solutions.
It is essential that you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent. 5-7 years experience within a technical pre-sales role or direct experience of delivering business solutions in the telecommunications environment, with subject matter expertise in the area of telecommunications.
You must also have a good understanding of software applications including but not limited to third party applications and security. Knowledge of relational database systems. Experience in the preparation of RFQs. Detailed understanding of technologies such as GSM, GPRS, 3G, 802.11b/g. Previous experience in the delivery of Java based solutions and technology. You must have at least one certification in: Microsoft(MCSE), Cisco(CCNA), Cisco, Checkpoint, Firewall.
